Cancellation & Booking Policy – Kennedy Lodge
We understand that travel plans may change, and we strive to be as fair as possible in such situations. Our cancellation policy is designed to reflect the impact cancellations have on our business due to limited availability.
Minimum stay:
Out of season:
Minimum stay weekends: 2 nights (Friday - Sunday)
Mid week minimum stay: 2 nights
High season:
Minimum stay between 3 - 5 nights
Payment terms:

Payment is required in full to secure all bookings.

This payment confirms your reservation and ensures your accommodation is held for you.

A refundable damage deposit of R3500 is required and must be paid 5 days prior to entry. If there are no damages, the deposit will be refunded within 5 days after your departure.
Cancellation Terms:

Within 90 days before check-in date:-in date:
Guests will forfeit 25% of the booking fee paid.

More than 1 month (30 days) before check-in date:
Guests will forfeit 50% of the booking fee paid.

More than 2 weeks (14–30 days) before check-in date:
Guests will forfeit a 75% refund of the booking fee paid.

Less than 2 weeks (0–14 days) before check-in date:
No refund will be issued. The full payment will be forfeited.
No-Shows & Early Departures:

Guests who do not arrive or who leave early will be liable for the full cost of the booking.
Refunds:

Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 10 working days.

All refunds are subject to a 10% administration fee to cover transaction and processing costs.
CONDITIONS:

Guests must comply with the EPGR regulations, which include a strict no noise disturbance policy.

The maximum number of occupants should not be exceeded.

No Pets allowed.

Cellphone reception is excellent, and complimentary Wi-Fi is available.

Amenities include ice trays, linen, bath towels, soap, satellite and TV. Guests are responsible for bringing their own swimming towels and firewood; however, firewood can be provided for a fee.

Daily cleaning services are also available for an additional charge of R850p/day.

The nearest shops are located in Bela-Bela, so guests should stock up there.

Please be aware that there is a 10 km gravel road from Bela-Bela that is regularly maintained. Vehicles with low-profile tyres or low ground clearance may find this road challenging. A tyre pressure of 2 Bar is recommended. While hatchbacks and sedans can access the road, driving slowly is advised. The internal roads within the establishment are not problematic.

The clubhouse offers breakfast and lunch, and arrangements can be made for group dinners.

Golf carts are available for use at the clubhouse.

The establishment is also happy to recommend spa bookings and various excursions.
